The Import CSV file report allows you to import data from external system data sources into Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.
Description
This report imports user data of external systems from a CSV file.
A CSV field mapping definition can control the mapping of the columns of the CSV file to the fields of the user master data. Without field mapping, a simple 1:1 mapping is used according to the order of the fields.
You can create CSV field mappings in Manage CSV field mappings.
Selection criteria
In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:
Options for file selection
You can select whether the report loads the CSV file from the application server or from the front-end. In both cases, you must enter the file path.
Options for import
You can select a CSV mapping and change the CSV delimiter and file encoding if necessary. You can select to add users.
You can execute this report in the background.
Result
The report result shows information about the imported data.
