Export and import of objects
Access through: Administration > Export/import of objects
The Export/import of objects feature allows you to transfer objects between Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software installations.
Description
The selected objects are exported and imported using an objects file. You can export and import the following object types:
If an object has Notes, the notes are automatically exported/imported together with the object.
Export objects
Access through: Administration > Export/import of objects > Export of objects
When you select the Export of objects feature, you can select the object types and object names to limit the load time of the objects that are available for export. Select 
to show the object list.
The object list then shows all objects of the selected object types of the Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software installation that you can export. You can select the objects for export by selecting the checkboxes. By selecting 
, the objects are exported to an objects file.

If you select an object that has included or dependent objects, all objects included in or dependent on that object are also selected for export.

Objects that are part of the License Intelligence templates are protected. Protected objects are not shown in the export table, and you cannot export them.
Import objects
Access through: Administration > Export/import of objects > Import of objects
When you select the Import of objects feature, you can select an objects file from the front-end. The objects to be imported are shown and you can select the individual objects for import by selecting the checkboxes. By selecting 
, the objects are imported.

If an object to be imported has the same name as an already existing object, you can rename this object by selecting Solve problem.

If an imported object has the same ID as an already existing object, it cannot be imported. You can select to keep the existing object by selecting Solve problem.
