Manage change lists
Access through: Change lists > View/maintain change lists
In preparation for recording and processing changes in user master data, you can create Change lists in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.
The members of pseudonymization groups may not show the details of change lists or copy change lists.
Create change list

Select .

Enter the name and description for the new change list.

Save.
-
Change lists can be created automatically when executing rule sets.

Change list entries are created by executing reports or executing rule sets.
Change change list
When you open a change list in change mode, you cannot only change the contents of the change list, but also process change list entries to update user master data.

Select the row of a change list.
-
To show the detailed view, select .
-
To switch to change mode, select .

To make changes, do the following:

To delete entries, select entries and select .
noteTo ensure auditing acceptability, you cannot delete entries in the Processed successful tab.

To process entries in the Unprocessed tab, select entries and select .
cautionOnce you have processed changes, they take effect immediately.

When processing change list entries, you can enter an annotation. The annotation is shown in the Processed successful and Processed with errors tabs and in the Change lists archive.

When processing change list entries, you can select whether the change list entries are processed online or in the background.

When change lists are created automatically in a rule set execution, the change list entries can be processed automatically.

You can undo the changes made by processing change list entries.
tip- When you process change lists in the background, you can define custom job names in Names of jobs.

To transfer entries from the Processed with errors tab back to the Unprocessed tab, select entries and select .

To move entries in the Unprocessed tab to another change list, select entries and select .

To transfer entries in the Unprocessed tab from a Supermaster system to a Submaster system, select entries and select .

Save.
Copy change list

Select the row of a change list.

Select .
-
Change the name and description of the change list.

Make other required changes:

To delete entries, select entries and select .

Archive change list
You cannot delete but archive change lists that have successfully processed entries in the Change lists archive.
Only successfully processed change list entries are archived, all other change list entries are deleted.

Open a change list in change mode.

Select Archive change list.
-
In the pop-up, select Yes.
Create offline file
You can create offline files to import and process change lists with Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software Offline Tool.

Open a change list in change mode.
-
Select Create file for offline update.
-
In the pop-up, select the location and select OK.
Undo changes
You can undo the changes you have made by processing change list entries. To do this, you must create rollback entries from the change list entries that have already been processed, and then process the rollback entries.
You cannot undo the changes made by the Unassign all authorization roles action in a rule set execution.

Open a change list in change mode.

In the Processed successful tab, select entries and select .

In the pop-up, do one of the following:

To add the entries to an existing change list, select Change list, enter the change list, and select .

To add the entries to a new change list, select Automatically create new and select .
noteYou cannot add rollback entries to the same change list in which the change list entries have been processed.

To undo changes, process the rollback entries in the respective change list.
