Manage Master Job
Access through: Administration > Master Job > Master Job configuration
In Master Job configuration, you can set up, change, and activate or deactivate the Master Job.
Set up Master Job

Select .

Enter the daily running time of the Master Job.

Select the user ID of the Master Job.

Do one of the following:

If you want to run the follow-on jobs with the ID of the user who created the follow-on job, select Follow-on jobs run with user ID of job creator.

If you want to run the follow-on jobs with a user ID different from the user who created the follow-on job, select Follow-on jobs run with user ID and enter the user ID.
noteYou can show an overview and create follow-on jobs in Manage follow-on jobs.
tipFor each follow-on job, you can define the delay with which the follow-on job is executed after the Master Job.

Do one of the following:

To save and activate the Master Job, select Activate job.

To save the Master Job only, select .

Change Master Job
To change the Master Job, you must deactivate it.
The Change data area in the Master Job details shows when and by whom the Master Job was last changed.

Make the necessary changes for the daily runtime and the user ID of the Master Job and the follow-on jobs.

Do one of the following:

To save and activate the Master Job, select Activate job.

To save the Master Job only, select .

Activate or deactivate Master Job
A message in the Master Job details shows whether the Master Job is active or inactive.

If the Master Job is deactivated, select Activate job.

If the Master Job is activated, select Deactivate Job.
