Manage follow-on jobs

Access through: Administration > Master Job > Definition follow-on jobs

Definition follow-on jobs shows an overview of all the created follow-on jobs of the Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software Master Job. You can create, change, and copy follow-on jobs.

The Master Job only executes follow-on jobs that are set correctly. When a follow-on job is set correctly, this is indicated in the follow-on job overview by an activated check box in the Fit to start column.

Create follow-on job​

  1. Select Add.

  2. Enter a name and description.

  3. Select the program and, if applicable, the variant that is executed by the follow-on job.

  4. Enter the delay with which the follow-on job is executed after the Master Job.

    note

    The minimum delay is ten seconds.

  5. Select the job interval and enter interval details.

  6. Save.

tip

  • If the entries of a follow-on job are incomplete or incorrect, The job is not fit to start is shown in the follow-on job details. In this case, select Show errors to get input help.

  • The Execution data area in the follow-on job details shows the job user and the date and time of the last and the next job execution.

Change follow-on job​

The Change data area in the follow-on job details shows when and by whom the follow-on job was last changed.

  1. Select the row of a follow-on job.

  2. Select Details.

  3. Make the required changes.

  4. Save.

Copy follow-on job​

  1. Select the row of a follow-on job.

  2. Select Copy.

  3. Make the required changes.

  4. Save.
