Usage profile analysis

Access through: Reports > Reports for BusinessObjects systems > Usage profile analysis

The Usage profile analysis report shows to what extend the users' usage of BusinessObjects systems corresponds to the objects defined in the usage profiles.

Description​

This report gives you information about the extent to which the usage of users on selected BusinessObjects data sources corresponds to a selected usage profile. You can choose whether the report compares the usage profile with the objects included in the usage profile or the objects excluded from the usage profile.

Selection criteria​

In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:

Options for report type

You have to enter the usage profile and can select between two different analysis options:

  • The number of objects that the user has used that are included in a usage profile

  • The number of objects that the user has used that are excluded in a usage profile

Options for usage data

You can select the type and name of BusinessObjects, change date, and creation date.

You can execute this report in the background.

Result​

This report result description refers to a report execution with an aggregation scheme by user ID.

The report result shows information about the user groups, the number of used objects included or excluded in the selected usage profile, and the consolidated license type.
