Execute duplicate search

Access through: Duplicate search > Execute duplicate search

The Execute duplicate search report is a part of the Duplicate search feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software.

This report uses Duplicate rules as a selection criterion. Hence, you must create duplicate rules before you can execute duplicate searches.

Description

When you execute a duplicate search, a duplicate rule is applied to the selected data. The report evaluates all combinations of user IDs and compares the data of user 1 and user 2 that is defined in the selected duplicate rule.

Selection criteria

In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:

• Duplicate rule

  You have to select a duplicate rule.

• Description

  Enter the description for the duplicate search result.

You can execute this report in the background.

tip

Since a duplicate search execution requires a lot of processing power, you should execute the report in the background to avoid a time-out.

Results

You can save the report results and show them in Results of duplicate search.
