Manage aggregation rules

Access through: Cross-functional objects > User aggregation > Aggregation rules

In preparation for the user aggregation in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software, you can create aggregation rules.

Create aggregation rule

  1. Select New.png.

  2. Enter a name and description for the new aggregation rule.

  3. To add entries, do the following:

    1. Select Add.png.

    2. In Create aggregation rule, enter the field name.

    3. To check the case of the field name, select Case sensitive.

    4. Select an option for the field transformation.

      note
      • For the field transformation with a regular expression, you can use all patterns available in ABAP.

      • For the field transformation with a method, you can use an ABAP class. The ABAP class has to implement the interface /DYNAM/ IF_AGGR_RULE_TRAFO.

    5. Select Accept.png.

    6. Repeat steps i. to v. until you added all required entries.

  4. Save.

After you created an aggregation rule, you can create aggregation lists or add the aggregation rule to an aggregation scheme.

Change aggregation rule

  1. Select the row of the aggregation rule.

  2. To show the detailed view, select Details.png.

  3. To switch to change mode, select Switch to change mode.png.

  4. To make changes, do the following:

    • Change the name or description of the aggregation rule.

    • To add an entry, select Add.png.

    • To delete an entry, select a row and select Delete1.png.

    • To cut an entry, select a row and select Cut.png.

    • To copy an entry, select a row and select Copy2.png.

    • To paste an entry, select Paste.png.

  5. Save.

Copy aggregation rule

  1. Select the row of the aggregation rule.

  2. Select Copy1.png.

  3. Change the name and description of the aggregation rule.

  4. Make other required changes:

    • To edit an entry, select a row and select Details.png.

    • To add an entry, select Add.png.

    • To delete an entry, select a row and select Delete1.png.

    • To copy an entry, select a row and select Copy2.png.

  5. Save.
