Graphical module analysis
Access through: Reports > Reports for ABAP systems > Graphical module analysis
The Graphical module analysis report shows a graphical analysis of the module usage of ABAP systems. It gives you information about the usage of the modules, sub-modules, and statistical data objects on the selected ABAP data sources. The usage is calculated in CPU seconds that are derived from the statistical data objects that a user has executed. Statistical data objects are, for example, transactions, reports, or jobs.
Before executing this report, make sure the statistical data objects data is up to date. There are reports to update the statistical data objects in New statistical data objects.
Selection criteria
In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:
Options for modules and objects
You can select modules, sub-modules, and statistical data objects.
Result
The report result shows information about the usage of modules, sub-modules, and statistical data objects in a graph. The x-axis shows the number of users. The y-axis shows, depending on the selected option, the number of statistical data objects or submodules. The size of the rectangles in the graph represents the amount of consumed CPU time for a statistical data object or a submodule.
-
Display mode: You can select whether the y-axis of the graph shows the statistical data objects of the modules, the submodules of the modules, or the statistical data objects of the submodules.
-
Scaling CPU consumption: You can select whether the graph scales the CPU consumption constant, logarithmic, or linear.
-
Click: You can select whether clicking on a rectangle in the graph zooms the graph or shows the details of the module analysis. You can reset the zoom by selecting Zoom out.
