Execute cost allocations

The Execute cost allocation report is a part of the cost allocation feature in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software. When you execute a cost allocation, a cost allocation schema is applied to the selected data basis and the user costs are allocated to the cost carrier hierarchy. The data basis for applying cost allocations can be:

Loaded users
User data that is loaded from connected data sources.

Current rule set result
Current license type values that are determined by a rule set execution.

Recommended rule set result
Recommended license type values that are determined by a rule set execution.
This report uses Cost allocation schemas as a selection criterion. Hence, you must create and activate cost allocation schemas before you can execute cost allocations
In order to have current data, you should load the user data or execute the rule set that you want to use before running the report.
Selection criteria
In addition to the standard selections, the selection screen of the report has the following selections:

Cost allocation schema
You have to select a cost allocation schema.
noteIf you select a cost allocation schema that is based on a CPU time consumption or a dialog steps cost allocation type, you can select the monthly period.

Data basis
You have to select the data basis to which the report applies the cost allocation scheme.
If you select the Loaded users option, you can select data sources and users.
If you select Rule set result (current) or Rule set result (recommended), you have to select a rule set result.

Description
Enter the description for the cost allocation result.
noteIf you do not enter a description, a timestamp is generated and used as the description when saving the report result.
You can execute this report in the background.
Results
You can save the report results and show them in Results of cost allocations.
