Contracts is a part of the Contract management feature of Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software.
Description
You can enter the contract information of SAP license contracts in a created frame contract or license contract. To represent the current contract situation, you can create a contract hierarchy.
Frame contracts and license contracts
A frame contract specifies the start date, end date, and currency. A license contract specifies the start date, end date, currency, assignment, non-recurring costs, and annual costs for maintenance and subscription. If actual maintenance differs from calculated maintenance, you can adjust the actual maintenance costs manually on item level or head level. You can upload contract documents.
Documents attached to a contract in Snow Optimizer for SAP® Software are stored in the Business Document Service (BDS) of the master system.
Contract hierarchy
The contract hierarchy shows the hierarchical order of frame contracts and license contracts. A frame contract can contain other frame contracts or license contracts. These subcontracts specify values that are added up and displayed in the top frame contract. If subcontracts contain other currencies, values are automatically converted to the currency of the frame contract by using the standard currency conversion mechanism of the SAP system.
