Cross-functional objects are proprietary objects that you can use in many features of Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software. They are objects that you create to predefine, for example, hierarchies, aggregations, or profiles. You can select these cross-functional objects, for example, in report executions or rule set executions to narrow results or inform users about results.

In Snow Optimizer for SAP^® Software there are the following types of cross-functional objects:

• License type hierarchies

• User aggregation

• Usage profiles

• ABAP role classifications

• Notifications
