Product license

Product license gives an overview of product license parameters. By clicking Load license file.png, a license file is loaded and installed.

note

  • A license file is only required during the initial installation and for license renewals.

  • A license file contains the numbers of existing SAP users and required Snow Optimizer licenses. Every SAP user who is not set as invalid needs to have a Snow Optimizer license.

tip

The number of users is checked only after data is loaded. In this way, before purchasing a license, the number of users can be checked to estimate the scope of a project.

After the license file was loaded and installed, information in 'Base data', 'Systems', 'Modules', 'License type pools for users', and 'Installed on systems' sections is shown.

In the 'License type pool for users' section, the user IDs within a license type pool can be shown by clicking on User_ids-en.png. The clients that have Snow Optimizer installed and whether user data exists on those clients can be shown by clicking on Clients.png.
