CSV field mapping

CSV field mappings can be created to map CSV fields and user master data fields to show the corresponding data within Snow Optimizer. Fields cannot be mapped more than once, and at least the field USER_ID must be mapped. Additionally, to mapping fields, data conversions can be specified. The available conversions depend on the field type.

Only activated CSV field mappings can be used when loading external system data via a CSV file import.

The activation concept defines the process of saving and activating objects that is used in the final stage to check for errors and mark the created object as ready for use. Creating and saving objects without activation can be used when work is still in progress.
