Contracts
Contract information of SAP license contracts can be entered in a created frame contract or license contract in Snow Optimizer. A contract hierarchy can be created to represent the current contract situation. Contract documents can be uploaded.
Documents attached to a contract in Snow Optimizer are stored in the Business Document Service (BDS) of the master system.
A frame contract specifies begin date, end date, and currency. A license contract specifies begin and end date, currency, assignment, non-recurring costs, as well as annual costs for maintenance and subscription. If actual maintenance differs from calculated maintenance, actual maintenance costs can be adjusted manually on item level or head level. If an SAP product of a license contract is no longer used, it can be terminated in whole or in part.
In a contract hierarchy, a frame contract can contain other frame contracts or license contracts. These subcontracts specify values that are added up and displayed in the top frame contract. If subcontracts contain other currencies, values are automatically converted to the currency of the frame contract by using the standard currency conversion mechanism of the SAP system.
